These rules are a must for anyone who plans on applying for my award. There are no exceptions all of these rules MUST be followed.
- You must be the owner and webmaster of the site, or part of the team that runs the site.
- In compliance with COPPA all applicants must be over the age of 13, or have have written permission from their parents or legal guardians.
- The site must be in English, I'm sorry but that's all I can read, if not there must be an on site link to translate it.
- Please no sites that contain warez, hacking, racism, pornography, pirated software, or anything else that could be considered illegal.
- Your site must have at least 5 pages of content.
- Your site must not crash my browser.
- If your site collects any of your visitors information there must be an easily accessible privacy policy.
- Your site must not have more than 2 banners per page. (banner = 468x60 advertisement)
- Do not submit your site more than once a month, and only if you have made significant improvements.
- If you win this award you may not resize it, though you really shouldn't have to its small enough and it's only 6k.
- Winners must display the award and link it back to my site. Note I do not do this to promote my site but only because I want other people to be able to apply for the award, and to verify your site as a winner.
- You must display your awards in an award gallery of some kind. You will be asked for the URL of your gallery on the application.
- It takes a lot of time to do this right, so please give me 1-4 weeks to properly review your site. Be advised that only winners will be notified.
Can you honestly say that you understand the rules and that you and your site comply with them? If so then you can now move on to the criteria.
